My name is Lakshitha Mallikaarachchi, but most people call me Lucky. I bring over 20 years of rich experience in the travel and tourism industry, having worked in Sri Lanka and the Maldives before making Finland my new home. My career has allowed me to excel in diverse roles, from marketing and communications to sales and operations management. One of my proudest achievements was leading the marketing and communications efforts at Cinnamon Air, where I spearheaded strategic campaigns for Sri Lanka’s leading domestic air taxi service. I also managed operations for Cozy Villas, a luxury villa chain, and held key roles at Asian Adventures Travel Management and Walkers Tours, where I focused on the European market and adventure tourism.
My expertise lies in strategic marketing, campaign performance analysis, building business partnerships, and managing online reputations. My international experience extends to the Maldives, where I had the opportunity to coordinate guest operations for luxury cruise lines and tour operators.
