Departure from Helsinki to Porvoo

Start your day with an early morning departure to the enchanting medieval town of Porvoo. Experience a guided walking tour through the picturesque Old Town, renowned for its charming cobblestone streets, vibrant wooden houses, and the iconic Porvoo Cathedral. Don’t miss the charming Vanha Porvoo with its beach huts, a favorite among photographers and visitors alike.

Travel to Loviisa

Next, continue your adventure to the picturesque town of Loviisa and visit the historic Malmgård Manor, a magnificent estate dating back to the 17th century, hosted by its owner, Count Henrik Creutz. After touring the manor, stop by the brewery and shop to sample and purchase locally crafted products. There is also an optional opportunity for a local beer tasting at an additional cost.

Transfer to Kotka

Arrive in the coastal city of Kotka and visit the Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Lodge, once a retreat for Russian royalty. Following your lodge tour, embark on a scenic boat ride along the Kymijoki River, where you can enjoy coffee and snacks amidst the stunning natural surroundings.

Enjoy lunch at Café Dagmar, located in the charming caretaker’s house. Along with delicious pastries and refreshing drinks, the café also offers savory dishes. For group visits, please inquire about lunch reservations. The café has a barrier-free entrance at the rear for easy access. The menu includes salmon soup, a variety of salads, fresh bread, coffee, and a little sweet treat to complete your meal.

Experience the private charter boat ride

Enhance your day with a captivating private charter boat aboard which sometimes call as water bus, Sail passing Kotkansaari Island for breathtaking views of the city, to get to   to Emperor Alexander III’s Langinkoski Fishing Lodge.

Visit the Maritime Museum of Finland at the striking Maritime Centre Vellamo. Explore exhibitions that showcase Finland’s rich maritime heritage and naval history, including interactive displays highlighting the significant Battle of Svensksund in 1789. The Kotka Park Tour spans 8.1 kilometers, allowing you to explore at your own pace. Highlights include the lush Sapokka Water Garden, featuring a stunning 20-meter waterfall, and Katariina Seaside Park, which boasts a massive stone picnic table and a meditation labyrinth.
