Based on 4 people sharing a Lilja Suite in Tahko and Type 1 cottage in Himos.

- Price Notice: The above price is an estimate only. The final price may vary depending on travel dates, accommodation availability, and any changes to the itinerary.
- Driver’s License Required: A valid driving license is mandatory for participants who wish to operate a snowmobile. Passengers may join without a license.
- Snowmobile Safari: Each snowmobile is shared between 2 persons. Solo riding may be possible on request at an extra cost.
- Child Participation: Most activities are suitable for children, though age/height restrictions may apply. Please confirm in advance.
- Fitness Level: Activities are designed for participants with normal physical fitness and require no prior experience.
- Weather Conditions: All activities are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled or adapted for safety.
Upon arrival at Helsinki Airport, begin your scenic self-drive journey to Himos Jämsä. The drive, lasting around three and a half hours, takes you through snowy forests, frozen lakes, and charming countryside villages.
After checking into your cosy accommodation, enjoy a quiet evening walk in the crisp winter air or unwind in your private sauna.
Wake up to the sight of fresh snow glistening in the morning light. After breakfast, explore Himos’ winter playground: glide through forest trails on electric-assisted fat-bikes, ski on perfectly groomed slopes or cross-country tracks, or try the unique experience of arctic floating in a thermal suit on an icy lake.
At other times, you may also enjoy Himos’ downhill skiing slopes and extensive cross-country trails at your own pace.
Those who enjoy fishing can spend a peaceful afternoon ice fishing, complete with warm campfire breaks.
Today you will enjoy an unforgettable husky adventure organized by Husky Safari supplier at the kennel in Jämsä area. The experience includes a 1 km sled dog ride in a sleigh led by a guide, meeting the energetic Siberian Huskies at the kennel, and enjoying warm drinks and snacks by the campfire. It’s a perfect way to discover the bond between people, snow, and dogs.
In the afternoon and evening, you will have free time to enjoy more of Himos winter offerings – whether it’s downhill skiing on the slopes, cross-country skiing through snowy trails, or simply relaxing in your cottage sauna.
Spend the morning at leisure, perhaps enjoying indoor activities such as bowling, padel, golf simulation, or swimming. This is also a great opportunity to hit the Himos slopes or enjoy cross-country skiing before your afternoon sauna experience.
In the afternoon, option of visit the Sauna Yard for an authentic Finnish sauna journey. Guided by a professional sauna master, you can experience different sauna styles, from traditional smoke saunas to barrel and design saunas, and relax in outdoor Jacuzzis surrounded by snowy landscapes.
Begin the day with a visit to Moose Manor, where you will meet moose, deer, and reindeer while learning about their lives in the Finnish wilderness (visit includes entry & guiding, meals not included).
Afterward, continue your journey to Tahko. Upon arrival, check into your Lilja Suite at Tahko Spa, complete with a private sauna, kitchen, and lake or mountain views. The evening is yours to explore the village or relax at the spa.
Set out on an exhilarating two-hour snowmobile safari. Riding two per snowmobile, you will traverse frozen Lake Syväri, follow winding forest trails, and reach panoramic viewpoints.
Pause for hot drinks and hearty outdoor snacks around a campfire before returning to Tahko for an evening at leisure.
In the morning, you may choose to embark on an optional two-hour winter e-bike tour through snowy trails and forest scenery, with a fireside break to warm up.
Alternatively, spend the day skiing on Tahko’s slopes or cross-country tracks at your own leisure.
Later in the evening, join a guided moonlit snowshoeing trek through peaceful, snow-covered forests. With headlamps lighting the way, follow serene trails beneath the stars and stop at a traditional shelter for a warm drink before heading back to the village.
After breakfast, take a final stroll through Tahko Village or hike to the Tahko Observation Tower for sweeping views of the winter landscape.
Later, begin the drive back to Helsinki Airport, for your departure flight bringing with your unforgettable memories of Finland’s snowy beauty and warm hospitality.
